What began as a few trips to the local iron gym quickly turned into an infatuation with movement, the human physique, and an understanding that movement is medicine for the mind not just the body. In addition to having an immense passion for strength training, she also enjoys training in boxing and pole fitness.

Her favorite ways to de-stress are through exploring, laughter, and being outside. You can usually find her SUPing, hiking, or anywhere with sand, water, and waves – that is if she’s not nerding it up with a good book and her greyhound rescue Highland Hanna.

Michelle has loved being active most her life, from playing on the monkey bars in elementary school to playing varsity sports in high school and college. Fitness has continued to be an important part of her life because of the community and confidence it provides not just physically but also mentally.  She loves to go on fitness journeys with people as they discover the strength and vibrancy exercise can bring.  On her days off, Michelle loves to go rock climbing, eat delicious food and go hiking with her two puppies.
